Had a great 13 night stay at Barry’s condo. Condo had everything we needed and was very clean, comfortable and pretty. The view from the lanai is so beautiful and Barry was very accommodating to our needs. Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Kah Lani! Communication with the host, Barry, and property manager, Carla, was very clear and articulate, with a very fast response time. The view from the lanai is exactly as shown in the property photos, and is absolutely beautiful! It had a small dining table for 4 on the lanai and another just inside, adjacent to the kitchen. The refrigerator/freezer with icemaker, dishwasher, and microwave were all full size and worked very well. High speed internet worked great and was very fast. Closet was spacious with lots of hangers provided. Parking was very convenient, right next to the stairwell. Plenty of bathtowels and four beach towels were provided. The two ceiling fans and other standing fans were very helpful in keeping the place cool. One big bonus for us was the bin of beach gear available for use, including beach chairs, boogie boards, beach toys, a beach umbrella, pool noodles, and various other items. My one suggestion when planning your visit during the summer is to bring a white noise machine for sleeping with the windows open. (Otherwise, it gets too hot.) As with EVERYWHERE on Kauai, the roosters are plentiful around the property and they crow pretty much 24/7. But the white noise machine drowned them out and allowed us to sleep peacefully. We would definitely jump at the chance to stay here again in the future!

Great middle location to the north and south shore. Kids loved the pool and adults loved the constant ocean breeze. Communication was excellent, too! Everything needed for the family at the beach in the beach box. Would stay again next time on Kauai. Thanks for sharing your paradise.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! This location is perfect in every way. It is centrally located, making it incredibly easy to explore the entire island. Kapaa is only about 5 minutes away, the North Shore is about a 30-minute drive, and Poipu on the South Shore is also about 30 minutes away. We couldn't have asked for a better home base for our Kauai adventure.The views are what we will remember most. Every morning and evening, we enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the beautiful pool, lush tropical grounds, swaying palm trees, and the ocean beyond. It was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we had imagined a Hawaiian vacation would be. Another huge bonus is the location right along the coastal path. It's about a 10-minute walk ( 2 min drive) to Lydgate Beach, where the protected reef creates calm water that is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. We loved taking morning walks along the shoreline. The hosts truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

We really enjoyed Barry's place! We visited Kauai for a friend's birthday and all had condos in the same complex which was perfect. We enjoyed evenings at the pool as a group. The balcony views were fabulous and the best part of staying at Barrys Place. We also appreciated having in condo washer and dryer. Not having A/C was not an issue for us. The condo has great breezes and plenty of fans. The only downside was the bed was extremely squeaky and the pillows were very firm. We also did the Koloa Rum Safari while on Kauai and would definitely do it again. It was fabulous!

The condo is just as beautiful in person as it was in the pictures, and the view from the lanai is stunning! The condo is a great size, and vaulted ceilings make it seem even more spacious. My husband and I loved how well-stocked it was, too - having access to a cooler and beach chairs was great!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed Barry's place. The location can't be beat - just steps away from the ocean and a walking path that leads to Lydgate Park where there is public swimming (plus there's a pool at the resort). The view is so peaceful as is seeing the sunrise each morning from the front deck. We were welcomed with a note, guest bath robes, and some treats. The communication with Barry was excellent. The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was very comfortable. 10 out of 10!!!!

My husband and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary and it was wonderful. The bed was comfortable, had beautiful views, a refreshing pool, and short walk to the beach. The condo supplied everything we needed for 2 weeks stay (beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, water shoes, snorkeling gear etc) and was super accommodating and wonderful hospitality with fresh flowers on the dining room table, coffee pods for the mornings and local cookies as a small gift. The condo has plenty of fans to help the breeze flow through the condo and keeps it surprisingly cool. They even provided a steamer, iron and ironing board for us to use on our clothes for a professional photoshoot on the beach. Its perfect location on Island allowed us to travel north or south to other cities and beaches within reasonable time depending on traffic. We highly recommend this property and will be back for sure! Thank you for a lovely anniversary trip and sharing your condo with us.

This is such a beautiful condo with an amazing view of the ocean and walking distance to an incredible lagoon for beach swimming and a play bridge in the other direction. Barry and Carla were great hosts. They left us fresh lilies and called me when housekeeping was done so we could have early check-in. The place was equipped with everything you could need for cooking, beach hanging, snorkeling, etc.

The place is great. A large king size bed and a queen size pullout sofa bed fit 2 adults and 2 kids just fine. Great view of the ocean from the balcony. Parking is right by the stairs with plenty of open spots. The unit is on the third floor which we don't have any problem with hauling our luggage up the steps but others may so something to consider. The condo doesn't have AC but it's feels nice with running fans and having the windows and patio door opened. The condo does have a washer/dryer combo which helps us out quite a bit as we travel light. We love the area as it is quiet and less traffic to deal with. Would definitely stay here again next time we're in town.

Great stay, loved the views, sunrise views from the lanai. Can catch sunrise from the lanai or walk down to the beach (beach is not swimmable) to catch it. It is only a 5-7 min walk to the beach. Bike path is right in front of the lanai. Kitchen is valuable if you are preparing meals inside to save $$$ because eating out every meal can be very expensive. Liked that the refrigerator and kitchen utensils were clean. My favorite breakfast spots - Holey Grail (must try their taro donuts), Small town coffee, Java Kai were only a 10-15 min drive, traffic dependent. Coconut marketplace is a 10-15 min drive as well. This condo is well situated between the North and South Shore. Getting to and from North Shore was more time consuming because of the construction, one lane bridges in the North Shore than getting to the South Shore. Beach essentials - towels, beach chairs, sunscreen were super helpful.

My bridesmaids and I stayed at Jim and Christin’s home for my wedding weekend and it was the perfect spot! Clean, spacious, great location, and the cutest decor! We were having issues with the heater in the house and Jim was incredibly responsive and immediately jumped in to make sure the issue was resolved ASAP. He even came by the house to help resolve the issue and was so kind to all of us. Would highly recommend booking with them!

We were in town for a long weekend with some friends and start to finish the stay was amazing. They’re very quick to respond and super friendly. You can tell they really enjoy hosting with thoughtful personal touches throughout the house to welcome you and make you feel at home. The home is gorgeous with super comfortable beds plenty of space very peaceful and comfortable and spotless clean. Everything you need is there and labeled to make it easy to find and the linens service is great with all the towels and bedding smelling nice and fresh. It was pretty cold weather so we didn’t get to enjoy outside too much but it’s a great set up, we were able to have a fire one night while watching a game it was perfect. Highly recommend staying here or any of their other properties - they’re such nice people and the house feels like a home, not just a place to house a bunch of people on a trip. All around fantastic stay !!

This place is wonderful! Incredible views of the ocean, and right on a beautiful beach. We loved going to sleep with the sound of waves. Comfortable bed, great sized kitchen, awesome shower. And excellent location with easy access to the north and south sides of the island. Highly recommend this spot!

Thank you again! Your place was fantastic and made our vacation even better. Barry and Mandy are quick to respond, describing their home perfectly and providing a clean and welcoming place to create memories. We slept with all the windows open and really enjoyed the sound of the ocean. Breakfast on the patio was great with that beautiful ocean view. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great experience.

My wife was a little sad about not going back to a resort for our anniversary but now that is the only place she wants to stay. The breeze was amazing so not having AC wasn't any problem at all. l enjoyed the sounds of the local birds even though the chickens can be quite vocal you get use to them quickly. I could have been happy just sitting on the balcony, but when in Hawaii, that is unheard of. So relaxed, I can't wait to come back.

Nice property/good location Beautiful view and nice condo, slightly dated decor. The washer/dryer use was a great asset. We had a problem with the back window panels not working which required a maintenance call; the owner was helpful in getting this repaired. The window had to be closed because the roosters start crowing at 4 am. Sadly, we weren’t able to use the pool because it was closed without notice for 3 days of our stay.

The home is bigger than I expected. I am satisfied. And the kitchen is amazing. It's spacious and fully equipped. I love it. The home is near the east shore. you can see the sea from the balcony. I walk to the shore to see the sunrise everyday. But the beach is not suitable for swimming. You can walk 7 minutes or so to the Hilton beach. There is lifeguard and is safe from the current and wave. The location is good. Wailua and Kapaa is near. Shopping and eating are easy. Airport and Costco is not far also.
